Trumpeter Sturer Emil page 4
Back to the exterior, I used Armorscale once again for their amazing barrel. You have read the reviews, so you know how amazing this piece of machined work is. In less than 30 minutes, I had an excellent representation of the Emil’s barrel. It’s quite a hefty piece of metal, even in aluminum and to scale.
In the Photo above, you will also see LionMarc’s set of Resin Individual Working tracks. They are extremely easy to work with and take little time to clean and assemble. The kit contains enough links to make 2 runs of tracks and all the spare tracks the is evident in most photos of the Emil, and a few to spare.
The final touches include a scratch turned ramrod, laminated jack blocks from Cocobolo, Tools and Aber Clamps, Headlamps, Notek, and the really nice resin jacks that are contained in the Voyager set.
